Serra Plaza is located in the heart of downtown San Juan Capistrano and adjacent to the historical Los Rios District. Serra Plaza was designed to extend the historical walk with a depiction program of mosaic tile murals displayed throughout the courtyard. This 5-acre commercial project will provide professional office, medical and restaurant space to the downtown area. The design theme was to create a “fortress” type design similar to the Mission San Juan Capistrano where heavy gates provide security to three pedestrian paseos.
