Innovative Environmental Solutions
RPALA Group has key knowledge and experience towards innovative environmental solutions with use of native plant gardens in extreme desert areas, flora and wildlife interactive signage solutions for adults and children, and other site support details. We are now working on our 4th Platinum LEED project with numerous Gold and Silver projects. We have been inventive with passive rainwater harvesting in conjunction with site drainage and retention. Using this concept, we recently completed an education center that has 100% native planting design with no irrigation after 18 months of installation that utilizes passive rainwater harvesting solutions for native plant watering needs. We are now finishing construction on our second grey water system. A 37 acre military project in Twenty-nine Palms recently installed with a grey water system supplying 100% of the site irrigation requirements. This project design is being used nationally with NAVFAC as an example for all projects for good sustainable site planning and design. Also, both solutions allow for 100% native plant pallets for regionally appropriate and aesthetically pleasing projects.
